The paddle is nice, if it's a good price I say go for it. You can get by just fine with the plus pad, though.

I thought about it, and I caved. I'm picking up the paddle, Space Invaders Extreme and Arkanoid for $45 shipped. Not bad.

According to Play-Asia, Space Invaders Extreme 2 is coming on March 26 for DS. I'm inclined to believe this, as I recall Hammerin' Hero and Umihara Kawase DS showing up on Play-Asia before any press releases, news sites, or magazines announced them.

PSP one is better if you don't care about leaderboards or paddles. Multiplayer is stupid and the two-screen setup is slightly worse than the one screen.

False. In this case, the 2 screen boss fights are much better.

Aside from that, DS has more music (larger number of songs), PSP has "higher fidelity" music, DS has arguably better song composition, and PSP has better graphics (not arguable).

DS all the way.

At $10, you are a retard if you don't get it, and possibly "slow" if you don't get both versions.
