Come on TNL. Make the right call. Show me you're still hardcore.
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney [DS]
Audiosurf [PC]
The Club [PS3, 360, PC]
Devil May Cry 4 [PS3, 360]
Culdcept Saga [360]
Lost Odyssey [360]
Patapon [PSP]
Professor Layton & The Curious Village [DS]
Sins of a Solar Empire [PC]
Wipeout Pulse [PSP]
Wow. This is a surprisingly strong month. I guess my vote has to go to Sins of a Solar Empire. I don't normally like RTS but Sins is sufficiently slow-paced that I don't mind, and I love 4X.
Audiosurf, The Club, Patapon, and Wipeout Pulse are all great as well, though each have some flaws. Audiosurf's servers seem to drop regularly, which is incredibly frustrating after finishing a hard song with a great score. The Club is really interesting but not varied enough to justify the $60 price tag. I'll definitely be getting it when the price drops a bit. Patapon is unique and beautiful, but there's a lot of grinding. I fucking hate grinding. Wipeout Pulse has an emphasis on weapons that I don't really like. I'm more interested in the pure (heh) racing.
This is the second month in a row that I haven't played any of the games (other than demos) before the month ended. My net worth thanks me, I think.
Poker Smash ;/
Having only played Audiosurf and LO, LO gets my vote.
I halfway wanna remove Culdcept and put PS on it instead.
I voted for LO. It's easily the best next- (current- ?) gen JRPG out there and is a pretty compelling play. DMC4 is good, but not that great. The Club would have been my pick last month if it was there. Cudcept is good too.
This month was pretty solid and I think March will be even better.
Of all the games I played this month, DMC4 was the best, but even for that, it was merely okay. I want to play LO soon.
