Thread: TNL's GotM: February 2008

  1. #21
Damn, I'm interested in trying every game listed but the only one I have played so far is Professor Layton. I have some demo downloading to do.

Also, The Experiment was released in North America last month. I was hoping for more impressions from TNL'ers.

  2. nthing Poker Smash.

I wish more of you guys would play the damn thing though.

  3. I mean, you guys don't have to vote till like what the end of the year? take some time to play the games before voting so it doesn't get skewed.

I agree, but most ppl don't bother to go back and vote and the winners are declared the following month anyway.

  5. I can eliminate most games off the monthly list as I won't vote for portables or last-gen systems (PS2, Wii). So..yeah

edit: Unless there is a REALLY good PSP game. I can get behind that.

I think Bacon and I are the only others that know a great game when we see one. Send me a message anytime and I'll play it with you. I really really love this game.

  7. Sorry, sometimes I have to make choices, and there's not always a clear winner. I debated between The Club, Culdcept, Poker Smash, and N+. Poker Smash would've probably been the better choice, but changing it now would ruin the results.

No, you have to get your vote in within 31 days of the thread being created. After that the poll closes and next month's thread is created.
Buy Yakuza and Oblivion. Help yourself, help TNL.

  8. Im stuck.

DMC4 was great gameplay mechanics wise, but the story sucked more balls, half of it was backtracking, no good puzzles, there wasnt enough of anything, not enough dante (he finally felt complete but once you loved him all over again it was over), not enough nero.

LO is blowing away my expectations. For being so god damned traditional i am enjoying playing it, (but Jansen is like the worst character ive ever had to sit through in his RPG).

Wipeout Pulse is great to finally jump back into wipeout. Awesome to now be able to jump online and race, and have it keep stats online. TNL lets get to racing. Cons? The DLC packs arent, up, and well, unlike Pure, these DLC packs cost. FTL.

Patapon is awesome-sauce. thats all that can be said.

To summarize, i have no fucking idea, but it looks like my vote is going to Patapon or LO.

You're just pissed that you're not nearly as big of a baller as Jansen is.

  10. I went with DMC4. I really liked it. Surprised as hell about that.
