in that order.

Plus, get on Killzone 2, inFAMOUS, God of War III etc. as they are released.

Also keep in mind that the PS3 has the best version of Burnout Paradise and a few other third party games.

I agree. I probably won't pay $60 for it though, so I'll wait for a sale somewhere.

$60 = huge Capcom games these days and essentially nothing else.

I hate to blow $60 for an annual sports game too, but this and NHL 09 are exceptions, you will get your money's worth.

It's not just annual sports games. $60 games are bullshit. I can get better versions of the same games on PC for $40-50 day one even if there is no sale. These console exclusives are the exception. I can stomach AAA titles like Street Fighter IV and even go for the Collector's Editions of those. But anything else is being bought on sale basically.

I have not been this excited about a baseball videogame since Baseball Stars 2

I downloaded the demo of this...damn, it's the nicest looking sports game I've ever seen. The animations are pretty much perfect, and it's somehow got kind of an arcadey feel while retaining realistic motion.

I don't know if I'll buy it though, for the same reasons Gooch gave. Just not sure I have the time & inclination to go through a season.
