In fairness, that's kind of just how the character was written.

  2. His best scene was when he was tied to the tree.

  3. Just saw it. THought it was great. I was suprised how good the action was directed in this movie. The action in Pineapple Express was kind of meh, but I forgave it bc it was a comedy. The action in this was actually awesome.

My fave comedy of the summer.

Shit, I own that and never saw it. I wanna see Tropic Thunder... RDJ looks convincing as a black dude.

  5. Some parts of this movie were disgustingly unfunny. Tom Cruise dancing and playing hip-hop for no real reason, for example. Overall, there were some good chuckles.
    OMG <3 4EVA
Scourge:Azumanga Daioh is exactly the same thing as Ninja Scroll.
    buttcheeks: High school so weird

  6. Tom Cruise dancing and playing hip hop as some old overweight white agent was one of the funniest things in the movie.
    Where I play

  7. Nah, it was very, "Look what Tom Cruise is doing! He curses too! Look!" His curse lines were even boring, you'd think they could take the opportunity to make some creative insults instead of yelling "fuck you" into a phone.

I didn't really care for the dancing during the movie, but during the credits it felt more welcome.

Maybe. But I was laughing my ass off when Tom Cruise took the blackbery from Mathew McConaghey and yelled at the heroin terrorists. That's something you'd expect a studio boss to do. I think Tom Cruise was my fave part of the movie. But I get what you're saying. Some of the humor did hinge on the "OMG look that's Tom Cruise!" variety.

  10. Saw it today. I actually didn't like it very much. It felt... honestly... kind of weird. Like every actor was out of place. Jack Black yelling at Alpa Chino from the tree and Stiller throwing the little kid off the bridge at the end were the best parts. Robert Downey Jr. was hilarious from what I could understand of his speech. Most of the time I hadn't a clue what the hell he was actually saying so it felt like I was missing out. Not sure what all of the fuss about this was all about. Hopefully Pineapple Express provides a better experience when I go and see it.
