Thread: Wall-E

  1. You can do that with a mass produced 20 pound glossy paper Wal-Mart Hannah Montana poster if you'd like.

  2. Any half way decent frame for a poster that big, granted its smaller than a real movie poster but its still pretty big, is going to run you 20 - 30 bucks. So there you go, you're only paying like 4.50 for the poster and Disney is doing the leg work for you.

  6. There's an Eve version of that poster as well ("Introducing the new Eve by BnL!").

BTW, I picked up the Wall-E PS2 game, and for a movie game, it's pretty fucking good. Captures the feel perfectly, follows the story well while providing additional backstory segments, and the gameplay is very solid with a lot of variety. Not perfect, but probably the best movie-licensed game I've played since The Thing. Considering what rancid pieces of crap movie games usually are (like Iron Man, which REALLY was the blandest piece of shit I've seen in ages), I'm shocked that someone put this much effort into Wall-E, especially since it's for a previous-gen system like the PS2.

There's neat little puzzle elements where you can compact trash into cubes and then pick up and throw the cubes at targets to trigger switches/events. You can even turtle up at will and use Wall-E's cutting laser.

BTW, the graphics are indeed muy impressive for a PS2 game, espeically the levels set on Earth (I haven't gotten to the Axiom yet). There are large, complex levels with lots of buildings, junk, and detail everywhere, a very smooth framerate all throughout, and almost zero camera issues. Wall-E himself looks exact and animates perfectly. I love this game.

  9. No prob. If you're semi-obsessed with this movie like I am, it's totally worth picking up.

  10. If trying to get car-shit worked out wasn't sapping every dollar from me at the moment, I'd pick it up next week.
