WTF is wrong with eBay? Apparently now you can't sell something unless you put a credit card on file for automatic payment of seller fee's. I'll pay your fees and all, but I don't want them deciding when the funds get taken out. I don't keep a whole lot of money in my bank account. You also have to accept paypal for payment. I don't want to accept paypal so you can take another slice of the pie.

Are there any decent alternatives to eBay?

Yeah, unless you want to actually sell something. At least here on LI, craigslist buyers are the flakiest, cheapest motherfuckers on the planet. 80% of the time people don't show, and those that do with "cash in hand" either don't have it or try to outrageously lowball me.

Fuck selling on craigslist. I've gotten some nice deals buying though.

There are many "specialty" auction sites for various types of things, but I don't know how much traffic they get.

It not the debit card that's the problem. Like I said, I don't have much cash in the bank, so if I sell something worth a few hundred and they take out the fees it'd be something like $40 bucks. I don't always have that available in my account.

And I"ve used craigslist for many things, but I was looking to make some cash pretty quick so I could buy something on craigslist... Usually craigslist takes it's time.

Ebay doesn't care if a guy whose account is barely staying afloat finds its method of debiting fees convenient. Actually, they'd rather not have your business.
