Those that cannot pay for their health insurance usually wind up in hospitals unable to pay anyways so the hospital takes it out on insurance and paying patients. The poor shleps who cannot pay usually end up costing us a bunch anyways.

I wonder if they are delaying the announcement for the merger talks or something else.
edit: OUCH! 20 Billion in cash, burns through 6.5 billion a month, about $7.35 per share - and said it has just an $8 billion cushion before it reaches the absolute minimum amount of cash on hand to operate. More jobs cuts, reorganizing dealerships, and delaying 5 models till 2010 (2011 Model year).
I think they should look at the Ford business model. But then again ....
Ford posts 2.7 billion dollar lose.
In the long run though Ford will be better with their combining of the R&D of both America and Europe. Also, them bringing over 6 European models.
