Malcom McDowell, huh?
He was even good in Tank Girl. This has moved into the "maybe" column.
Has anyone else seen this movie yet? I just got back from it and had the lowest expectations possible, expecting a crap fest and ended up thoroughly enjoying the fuck out of this movie and had fun watching it with a group of friends. This was pretty much Mad Max meets Escape From New York.
There was nothing too special or original about the plot, but the visuals, blood/exploding heads/decapitations/cannibalism, pretty much nonstop action, hot leading babe actor (who wears the occasional Snake Plisken eyepatch when she doesnt have her robotic eye installed), and Malcom McDowell won me over.
Aka it was pretty awesome.
Oh, yeah, the guy who directed this was Neil Marshall of Dog Soldiers fame.

Go see it ,man. It was worth it. It was a throwback to 80's action flicks, and in my opinion thats not a bad thing.
I went with 5 people, and every one of them thought this was pretty awesome.
A movie guy I know recommended this highly, but my movie buddy refuses to see it. I have to see Diary of the Dead instead.
Bastard.
I am looking forward this. Couldnt make it to see last weekend, so I hope to see this Saturday.
Yeah, from what I have read about this, it really gives EFNY vibe, and for me its a good thing. Plus I loved both Dog Soldiers and Descent and know that director can deliver some good shit.
Thats MY kind of thingDon't forget the taped off severed head on the ride.
