Ok - seriously guys.... I've read through three pages and the meetings seem to be spiraling in circles.

A central location would be the way to go, whether that's Times Square or Union Square. Frankly - I think Union Square would be a LOT easier, especially since we'd only be walking distance away from some awesome bars which I know folks like Shinjohnpv, bandit, Mezz and Frog have seen before.

- Everyone planning to attend should be exchanging numbers in case there are delays from folks coming into the sitting. This way no one gets left out.

- How many folks are planning to stay with the core TNL group hooking up, and how many are going to split up for baseball and/or drinks later that evening on the 7th (or the 6th or whatever).

- Less bitching about folks who don't want to come down to drink (not that there's anything wrong with that. Shit, I'll gladly share a pint with a few of ya), but c'mon - this thread is going up/down and that's probably one of the reasons why ppl just starting pulling out. Can we make this event awesome or what?

- I am going to be heading down into CF sometime later that evening. Depending on how things go from that point, or whenever the RockBand party goes down - I'll be down to head out to Astoria if that's where the Beer Garden is at.

I just want to see MORE organization and an action plan. kthx.

LOL. Bahn's never been to a NYC meetup. Its a clusterfuck till the day before the event. AND even then the plan changes when everyone gets together.

I just know that with Mezz and Burg in charge of the festivities all is good. I just felt that Razor's bitching was one of the many reasons some of the people backed out. I know that Razor just wants to have a good time and usually with everyone around at a bar. This is where everyone gets to know everyone. I also know that when everyuone is at a bar setting he (Razor) is in his element and is the most comfortable. I hope I am wrong that most backed out due to Razor's bitrching about going to bar, actually.

All I know is that we all will have a blast and the people that DO show will realize that the NYC TNL holds shit down, son. It may look like a mass of confusion, but in reality ... you will have the most fun and the spontaneity is what makes THIS meetup the best ... always.

I'd be down for cheapshots after sushi dinner, which it would have to be since that dinner will be early. Then go back to KoF's place for a few hours then maybe hop out to wherever the hell cheapshots is? Am I looking for too much there?
