Twins had plenty of opportunity to compete in the past and ignored it because Pohlad is a cheapskate. The scouts there do a good job but it's futile. They do dumb stuff too. How long did they let Guzman play ss on teams that could have contended? A couple other spots were filled with pure shit and held them back. They also play in the worst park in the majors.

I'm kinda puzzled at the Boston Bruins being on that list. Sure, the owner is shit, but that's an original six franchise that has loads of fans and is profitable.

I went expecting a good pitching duel. Oh well.

It was dumb of Randolf to leave Maine in for 117 pitches in a game they were winning by 12. With that lead starters should be out around 100.

Willie habitually pulls his pitchers too early and lays waste to his bullpen. These starters needs to get stretched out.

That list is ridiculous. The Twins, Rays and Hawks should be nowhere near it. Where are the Knicks and Raiders?

Knicks won't be there because they have had periods of relative success and make hella money. Where are the Nets and the Jets?

Twins reliever Pat Neshek, whose seven wins and 74 strikeouts in 70 1/3 innings last year made him a fantasy factor, reportedly felt a pop in his elbow Thursday and had to leave the game. The team is expected to make an announcement about Neshek Friday.

Too bad for Neshek. He always seems like a cool guy in his blog and on tv. Great reliever too.

What doesn't suck is that Doug Davis is reportedly cancer-free, and should rejoin Arizona's rotation in the near future.

But it sucks that Scherzer will probably be bumped out. I was hoping he would replace Gallardo in my fantasy rotation.

I'm with ya stormy, as I got Scherzer in my money league (and I'm hoping he can make up for Verlander sucking so far, lol).

I'm guessing again, but the decision may hinge on how Scherzer throws tomorrow. If he shuts down the Cubs, Arizona would have to keep him in the rotation, right? No point keeping an arm like his in long relief...ah, who knows.

And speaking of fantasy, I feel like adding Davis on pure principle.
