Thread: The Official MLB Season Thread (Opening in Japan at 6:00 a.m.)

  1. Wow, 9 HRs (so far?) in today's Yanks/Orioles game.

  2. Ian Kennedy is a stud.

    Generation Trey. BELIEVE!

  4. Jay Bruce had about the best debut I've ever seen a player have today. 3 for 3 with 2 singles, 1 double, 2 RBIs and 2 walks. The Reds future is looking good with this guy in the outfield.

This Yankees-Os game is nuts. I can't believe the Yankees almost blew an 11th inning, bases loaded 0 out situation. Thank god for the 2 out hit. Latroy Hawkins will blow it in the bottom 11 though.

Being right is such a disgusting feeling.

Thank god I only have to see Pettite and Joba tomorrow. I need the Yankees to go out and buy some middle relief before I cut myself.

  7. Burnett strikes out 10. Jays still lose 3-1.

    It's happening again.

That would be awesome if all those Sox started the ASG. I know everyone else would hate it though (which makes it more awesome to me).

They were all-round horrible last night outside of Burnett, fumbling the ball all over the place; Eckstein was totally rusty. But I'm predicting Halladay gets the win tonight.

    You win a prize!

(He struck out 9 -- since when did we become such a strike out machine?)
