I used to rent from Videodrome back in Atlanta, it was a nice walking distance from my apartment.
They had movies orginized by director, lots of "Region 0" forigen films, and a whole bunch of out-of-print limited edition box sets. Most importantly, they had damn near the entire Criterion Collection for rent. Need a copy of "Spaced" that will play on your DVD player? They've got it. Pinky Violence collection? Yep.
My favorite part was that the first film in the "Splatter" genre was "Passion of the Christ".
It was a nice weekend thing to walk down there and pick up a DVD or two. Such a rad store. I've still got a sticker on my laptop.

I used to use Hollywood video when they had $1 day rentals on everything. I've had netflix for the past couple years as well.
