Logo Help!

Seeing as we have this thread, and I don't want to devote a thread all to myself, here is a logo I just decided to make for fun, although I'd like to be able to refine it and use it. After looking through this thread, it made me want to think of a cool name to use for my own work. I really didn't want to use my name, so I finally came up with this idea.

We've had a bunch of animals at my house at one time (9 chickens, 3 dogs, 4 cats, 5 fish, and taken care of wounded animals that have stumbled across here such as an owl, chipmunk, and squirrel ) hence the name Animal House Productions. I know, I know, I mainly only used a filter, but I really like the colors and edges it produces, I think it is nice and simple. Something I could put either before or after my personal works.

BTW, I know it could still use some work, but I spent so much time trying to find the right combo of filters and adjustments that I just wanted to get the name in there and not really touch it much. May not even really need much touching up, but I will leave that all up to you guys.

Use just dog on the right, crop out everything south of the collar, and make the text contrast more with the brown of the dog. That's where I'd start.

I was thinking about this myself, and personally did not want my name to be involved. Regardless, of the choices above, I'd say Moreno Pics. I really don't think B-Ri conveys any sense of professionalism. For what you want now, Moreno Pics, or hell, if we are just dealing with photography (which I suppose could encompass video) I would suggest Moreno Photography. It just has a little more class in my eyes.

The only reason I'm not helping you out right now with your logo (with physical attempts, i'll give advice where I can), B-Ri, is that I have a lot on the go as it is. I'm in way over my head for time right now as a designer.

I've hooked in 3 websites as a freelancer (outsourcing the coding), 2 logo's for small business, that blog I'm trying to start up about learning web design (idunnohow.com, I posted about it before). I'm also upstarting my own art business with a salesperson I know which has been going well so I may have to do some abstract paintings earlier this week as well AND my own marketing & design company. Oh and a business card my friend Jayan's chop shop (a freeby, probably). I also have a massive website that I've been trying to progress for the past year and 1/2 that's spinning its wheels for the time being. I've also revamped my personal portfolio site which will be up this week sometime.

If I do have some spare time I'll mess around with it, but I'm just not going to make any promises I'm not 100% sure I can follow through with.

When you say the word PHOTO I automatically get the impression of a 24 hour development place found in most Supercentres mega shopping stores. Moreno Photography sounds professional. You have to think of the businesses you'll be catering too, as well.

Whose business are you planning on hooking with your photography?
