Any one into recent Hong Kong cinema will have seen the original Storm Riders (you can see the trailer for the original if you haven't seen the movie here) and finally a sequel is in the works with the original cast (minus Sonny Chiba). At the time the special effects for a foreign movie was pretty decent so it will be pretty interesting to see how they turn out for the new one.

The special effects look to be ambitious, Yeller. According to Wikipedia, "Filming is expected to begin in April of 2008 with a release in October or late 2009. The budget is reportedly $12 million and filming will be done all on blue screen, reminiscent of the Hollywood film 300."
