MY favorite PS1 RPGs (and the only ones I ever played all the way through): Vandal Hearts, Thousand Arms, Azure Dreams, and Lunar: SSS. All brilliant, awesome games.

I played a few others (Grandia, Lunar 2, Final Fantasy Tatics, Final Fantasy 7) but never bothered to beat them. They never hooked me like the 4 I mentioned above.

Just so you know, Famitsu is published weekly. And honestly, I don't know how the hell Famitsu got put up as some holy grail of game coverage. Maybe its the japanimu nerds looking for some validation in life.

I agree fully with this. He at least ruined FF in my eyes. The character designs are fucking awful.
