I played it again about two years ago, and it was still quite solid. PE2 was so broken that I couldn't get very far into it... which makes me sad, because I really, really, really wanted to.

  2. I think regardless we can agree both are better than the one where a member of the beach boys emerges from a dream world to fight a giant evil version of his father who was a pro athlete adventurer alongside his old samurai dead guy best friend.

  3. The street urchin and his friends who speak in muddled and strangely archaic dialects while helping a frigid cunt collect glowing stones and eventually just forgetting about it and hunting for monsters didn't exactly blow my skirt up, either.

  4. God, FF is so gay.

  5. I miss stories that the Gooch cooked up. Granted it was convoluted at times but I'd take a story like FFVI's anyday over the new stuff (hence why I really like Lost Odyssey)

Very well, in my opinion. I played through it again last year. Something about the atmosphere is completely riveting. The sequel was a massive letdown.

I absolutely adore PE, as well as Vagrant Story.

I still maintain that VI was the last "real" FF. And once the price drops on LO, I'll be all over it.

  8. Lunars, Xenogear, FFTactics, Vandal Hearts, Suikoden and Vagrant Story

  9. No Kartia love in here? For shame.

Wasabi's list is pretty spot on. I'd just swap FF 7 & 9, dump Wild Arms, ignore that he called SOTN an RPG and add in Kartia & Dragon Warrior 7 toward the bottom.

  10. I just want to say that while it is a very good game, Suikoden II is overrated.
