Not really, it is more of a Zelda type game. But it was good. Heard 2 isn't so hot but I have not played that one.

I enjoyed my playthrough of Granstream Saga honestly, I thought it was a fun game and the multiple endings while based only on the final choice of which girl you want to live with was a good note to end it on, adding it's own special moment that I'll never forget. Don't know if I'll ever play through it again.

BoF IV wasn't that bad. It had its entertaining moments and some fun boss fights. The switching system also helped make combat engulfing. But it doesn't hold a candle to BoF III. Its story was engrossing and even the side quests were fun.

Xenogears is #1. Great characters, epic story, really interesting world. Disk 2 haters be damned!

Wasn't it disc 3 that people bitched about? I agree Xenogears is brilliant. #2 after Suikoden II.

[Edit]: Guess not. Google says it only had two discs. Too many games fighting to be remembered in my brain...
