On the other hand...fuckin' Affleck.

Kevin Smith jerks off about this movie, but I don't know if that's because he's Mr. Daredevil or because he's watching his buddy Affleck's ass or he actually thinks its decent. We'll see...

Saw the trailer for it when I saw Minority Report. It could be good or it could suck hard. We will have to wait and see.

As the resident comic geek here, I am remaining optimistic. I have some reservations, like Bullseye, but then again I thought the X-men costumes looked stupid, and they turned out alright. We'll see.

I take much greater issue with the casting of Micheal Clarke Duncan. Don't get me wrong, he's an EXCELLENT actor, but KINGPIN IS NOT BLACK. That's a rather major thing to go changing. Furthermore, he isn't a pimp. :P

I think they picked him because he's pretty much the only actor in hollywood big enough to play the part. I thought they would give him the white guy make-up, but oh well. For some reason I thought they would go with matt Damon, the second half of the ambiguously gay duo.

Perry, who is big enough to play the Kingpin other than Michael Clarke Duncan? Or perhaps the question should be, who is big enough but at the same time a decent actor? Answer; No one. Although I too am a bit wary of the Kingpin's race being transmografied (for different reasons, tho), the fact remains that the Kingpin has to be HUUUUUGE, and the only person in Hollywood who matches that is MCD. Unless you want a CG Kingpin...

And while the Kingpin is in fact, not a pimp, he is often seen dressed like a pimp and carrying a pimp cane :P
