The latest NBA Ballers clangs iron in all kinds of ways, but two issues leap out most prominently: It's stuck in a game-design time warp, and it seems to have been built in a vacuum.

..visuals are awfully amateurish...The player clothing looks like hardened plastic, with no texture to speak of, and the animations lack fluidity.

nearly every addition to the NBA Ballers formula is poorly conceived and almost always annoyingly implemented.

no matter if you're losing 40-2, if you pull off a level three super-move it's an auto-win.
