Most folks aren't really nostalgic for the Famicom.

I know but just because something's nostalgic, that doesn't mean it looks good. If I still had my Ghostbusters shirt from 1984, I wouldn't wear it today (even if it fit).

I still think the NES has one of the ugliest looking cases/controller ever. I much prefer the Famicom's look.

I've never liked the square edges on the controller.

I guess so. I'm sure someone will get all nostalgic a decade or two from now and make an Xbox coffee table which means they will have to make it smaller than an actual Xbox.
