I just bought Ape Escape recently too, for $15 new (also non-GH). Great deal for a great game.
I took my wife out to eat today to a restaurant that conveniently had a Game Stop and K Mart nearby (what are the chances?). After we ate, she and I headed over to Gamestop. I got the following:
- Ape Escape $13 (not GH)
- Eternal Eyes $6 (Haven't played it yet, but I heard it's so-so.)
The big deal was at K Mart. They had a shitload of NES, SNES, N64, and Genny games cheap as hell. I got:
- Ice Climbers
- Rygar
- Adventures of Link
All for $2 apiece!! They had others, like Goonies 2, Metal Gear, Dragon Warrior 2, SMB 3, Ikari Warriors, Ninja Gaiden, and a bunch more, all for $2!! They're cart only , but shit, for $2...
Their SNES and Genny collection were ok, but I did notice that they had No Mercy for $17 new and Turok 3 for $14.
I had little cash , dammit. If I had gone to K Mart first, my wife would probably have had to settle for drive thru. I'm going back in the week to see what else I can get before some other fella takes 'em all.

Nice Haul Melf, and to think there were no good deals in Puerto Rico.Originally posted by Melf

I've never seen ANY old games in my Kmart.
You guys are very lucky

I remember someone told me a story about how he went to Kmart and bought a used copy of Super Mario RPG for $20. However when he got home and opened up the box out came a block of wood![]()
At the Kmart I work at, I was opening this repack box for the electronics department and when I opened it, I was staring at a brand new Bionic Commando for NES. I was like WTF?! It's $25 though so I'm not gonna get it anytime soon.
I think my local K-Mart still has a brand new copy of Tecmo Super Bowl hidden among the piles of old Sega CD and Saturn games.
My K-Mart has a decent selection of old games but everything is cart only and priced at $8 (I want Starship Hector, but not that much). Still, I'll ride down there and see if any sale has taken place.
I just got Arc the Lad Collection in mint condition for 34 bucks!
Yay me!
