I went to see THE CULT here in Phoenix about 2 years ago, and while the band was getting ready, they played the SNAKE EATER song and I laughed my ass off. Nobody else there recognized it.

MGS3 is my favorite in the series so far. I loved the boss battle with The End, it took an hour but I felt such a sense of accomplishment when I finally got him. Also, you can cheat and not touch the game for a week and he will just die because he is old. That is awesome.

I figured out that you could track his footsteps using the thermal goggles. He also keeps falling asleep and is easy to find with the directional mic. But until I started chasing his glowing footsteps, I didn't realize you could actually leave the area you start in during the fight. It was taking forever to find him

I remember trying to get them all and then I noticed I had missed one probably around the first volgin fight. I could see it from a window but I couldn't backtrack to get it or shoot it from there. It sucked.
