Well I've found some interesting merchandise regarding that film in Yahoo Japan's Auctions. Well actually, only two, but it's still worth a look.





The first image is a telephone card, while the item in the last two images is a pamphlet containing info about the movie, including a list of the voice actors. I have a few questions though: Who is the gay-looking character next to Peach and what's up with Luigi's weird color scheme?

My guess is he's the prince to Princess Peach. Hard to say, since I don't know Mario's role exactly (except, of course, to rescue Peach).

That's what I thought, except Peach looks alot more into Mario than Chauncey there.

Ever seen Castle of Coligostro? I'm thinking Mario in the place of Lupin III and Peach in place of, well, the obvious. Luigi goes as Lupin's buddy (another "of course").

Though that could just be the art style and the shot of Mario/Luigi heading away from the prince and Peach together that reminds me so much.

Poor Mario, braves death at the hands of oversized mutant-fungi, hammer-weilding turtles, and huge, fire-breathing tortoises with spikes on their shells, and the only thing he gets in reward is a "Thank you!" and a shitty-tasting cake baked by Princess Peach.

Meanwhile Prince Wussylookingfudgepacker gets to sit his ass on a comfy throne waiting for Mario to bring his wife back, then bangs her with his Pez-sized dick as Peach is so bored out of her mind she doesn't even bother to fake an orgasm, and instead is dreaming of that short, red, well-hung plumber hero of hers.
