Right now it looks like they're kickin' it in a nursing home or clinic. It's very dull and sterile. What can you do to make the room more interesting?
Keep roughly the same camera position as the first one, just angle it down so you don't see ceiling. Flop Master Chief over to the other side of the TV.
1)This was room was my only option (no other map out there that I've found [and i spent well over 2 hours downloading maps] has a fairly large livingroom-esque area) unfortunately - the rest were either too dark, or had shitty posters everywhere that I wasn't about to try and fix (post would've been a pain in the ass).
While the room is 'drab' to an extent, it's not as if anyone's average house is really great looking on the inside. White walls, shitty carpet, etc.
2)Nobody made 360 controllers - so I have to mask it with an angle that hides what the 4 Nintendo characters are holding in their hands.
Also, there's no way in hell I'm moving MC. The entire theme is for him to be disconnected from the rest of the cast since he's the only Xbox type character there. It looks awkward enough without him in direct proximity to Samus, Bowser, and Zelda.
3)I'm calling this one done, unless I find a way to spruce it up (only thing I can think of is some kind of bookcase for the right corner, or some potted plants/wall flower type of thing). Even then, changing camera angles isn't going to fix shit for the feel of this, as it's too bright and 'normal' for this theme to really work 100%.
