Yeah but a good bit of Europe is smaller with better public transportation. My comute into the city if I go by train is 3 hours. (Fuck you Montclair and you're 75 1 block apart stops) If I drive to Hoboken and then take the path my commute is about an hour and a half to hour and forty five minutes. Which adds up to a good amount of time saved. It puts a shit load of miles on my car though, I was filling up twice a week doing about 500 miles a week. My car was getting fairly decent gas mileage too, about 23 - 24 mpg. Not great but not bad either.
What needs to be done is all you fuckers with trucks and SUVs need to fucking sell them and buy cars again. Voting ain't going to do shit right now, since like it was said all the ass fucks in government are getting their kickbacks. Now if all the douchebags with Hummers, giant ass trucks, and SUVs who never ever go fucking off road for 1 milisecond of their yuppy annoying lives sold them, that would definitely have an effect. Since all the ass fucks have to drive giant ass gass guzzling trucks though, hell to getting fucked anally by the oil companies!
Also to the people going OMG things cost more now. The reason this is a bitch and a half is because while Gas prices are soaring and causeing the price of a lot of other shit to go, peoples average wage has not gone up at the same level. If it had then this would be fine it would balance out. That how ever is not the case.
My goal right now is to get a job in the city that pays me enough to move to Hoboken, as much as I hate Hoboken, my commute to anywhere to work would be like 30 minutes and it would consist of path and subway riding.
