Yeah. I think the average salary in the U.S. is something like $35k. It's less than $20K in PR, which makes $4 a gallon even harder to deal with here.

Also I'd like to know what their average commute to work is. I know quite a few people bring up how much the British pay for gas but the average commute their is like 1/10th what it is in the US.

$12 a gallon for gas AND $12 a day just for HAVING A VEHICLE in the city with the possibility that the congestion charges are raised to $40. If you drive into London, you're fucked proper. The London subway is extensive as shit though, going all the way out to Chesham, 25 miles outside of London.
