I just finished Dead Space tonight, and I want to reiterate the fact that the game blew me away from start to finish. Its definitely one of the best games I've played this year, just because it does a convincing job of sucking you into the game's world and not letting you go until you finish the game. It took me about 12 hours to finish too, and I think thats the PERFECT length for an action game these days.

My only real complaint is that the final boss was one of the easiest in recent memory...some of the regular enemies seemed tougher to me I'm also not sure what to make of the ending...?

I've just made it to the captains quarters I believe in under 4 hours (ch 4?). How much more game do I have to look forward to?

That's even more depressing, given the launch trailer (which was really well done, especially the music).

If you're on Chapter 4, I would say you have a good 7 hours left or so. Each chapter took me roughly an hour or so to beat. Regardless of gameplay hours, you still have a lot of ground to cover in the game

Just tried out the section where the regen monster chases you. I was fine until they threw a 2nd wall monster at me. Didnt even see it, ran tot he door and got my head chopped off. The wall monsters are bitch enough without Captain Cant Be Killed chasing you. wtf.
