The only thing I could say as a negative is that there is absolutely no reason to use any gun but the plasma cutter.

Most are, in fact, less effective at the killing.

Oh, and a 2nd negative that does not really affect the game at all for me but makes me crazy: the insane amounts of worthless microtransaction shit attached to this title. FUCK EA so bad.

But I mostly use the other guns because they're RAD. I like the line gun lots.

Yeah, on my hard play through I will roll with the plasma cutter, the line gun, ripper, and contact gun.

Line gun is amazing for cutting off like 200 legs at once, the cutter and ripper are easily the most ammo efficient if you don't suck, and the contact ammo plus the line gun ammo = $$$

I used the contact laser mostly for those times when something the size of the room was coming at me, and during the final boss, when he'd lift you up by your leg and you had to aim at the weak point. Laser would take care of that in one shot.

The secondary shot of the Contact gun (I think, the one that's kinda like a shotgun) is really helpful with its grenades, specially in zero G areas. The ripper is a must for the fat pregnant monsters. And it's insanly fun to use. Line gun is the OH SHIT, QUICK DIE room clear weapon.

Contact is the charge and shoot big damage one, it sucks but the ammo (aside from the line gun ammo) might be the best to pick up and sell.

The game is smart about what ammo you find on the ground and from enemies, all depends on what you're carrying on you.

The shotgun one is the force gun. The grenades are decent but whatever.

The only gun I used the whole game was the one you start with.

I just finished this game today and WOW!, was that a killer time. I started it Monday night and finished it this morning. I couldn't stop playing it until it was finished.

It was really cool seeing some of the cut scenes play out after recently watching Dead Space: Downfall. I am really looking forward to Dead Space 2 now.

Have they announced a sequel yet? I'm all for it, I'm still in the process of finishing all the achievements on this game. I'm still going to wait for the Wii games price to drop before I get that though.
