What the GD hell?! Too scary? How bout they make an even better sequel and let the real men play that and the pussys go play Resident Evil 5. Too hard? The demo was hard, the game is easy and the difficulty ramps up very nicely and fair thru the whole game.
There were some nice downloadable and unlockable suits with neat designs. My favorite is the futuristic astronaut one.
Please please please please no stupid changes and keep the Event Horizon look and feel.
I picked up Dead Space: Extraction yesterday since it had dropped to $30 for a Boxing Week sale. I like it but so far I can't figure out why some reviewers gave it a 9. Blasting off enemy limbs is still fun but the action gets constantly interrupted with story elements that aren't that interesting, your character keeps rapidly swinging his head making it dizzying to watch, and it doesn't seem to have the depth of customization as first game.

Okay, I beat Extraction. Story Mode is a disappointment. I switched from Normal to Hard after a few levels (it's the hardest setting you can play on for your first time through). I only died once the entire game, and that's only because it was a part where you're supposed to rivet a metal sheet and I stupidly equipped another weapon. I imagine/hope Challenge Mode fares better but Story Mode is unacceptably easy on the settings they offer.

Played this and marginally enjoyed it until it was time to shoot asteroids with the right stick. After failing it 10 times, I turned the game off and shelved it for good.
You don't have to be smart; you don't have to know the facts, you just have to be confident.
