I really just hope this game regains its stature and interesting nature when WOTLK comes out.
The guild had it's first full clear of ZA tonight and I was pretty proud to be a part of it considering I've been playing for four years less than people who weren't geared/good enough players to get into the party.
I doubt we'll be doing any tear 6 content before the expansion, but we finally have enough people that when WoLK comes out we should be able to keep up with content while it comes out.

Must've been too busy with all my serious business running RAMPARTS. :O :O :O
I canceled my subscription for the fourth time today, and I feel free, for lack of a better word. I'm actually in the WotLK beta and am disappointed in it. I definitely have not given it a completely fair shake, but I am getting a strong vibe of too much of the same old shit. Blizzard's insistence on removing attunements and lowering requirements for content has let way too many nine year-olds and grandmothers affect my experience negatively.
Exactly.
Setting up a five man instance can be too diddly and time consuming for me, so I embrace the changes.
Maybe with the game being easier and more targeted towards the ten and under set, you won't need to "quit the game four times" to feel "free".
Now all of the other addicted people will be able to play it a bit here and there, have fun, and not have to worry about going to counseling anymore.
Excellent job completely missing the point. You still can't play the game "a bit here and there", but now you won't have any fun because the four hour sessions will be ruined by non-gamers.
