Thanks for all the applause. I'll have to wait till tomorrow to up the final batch, but I would love to get everyones opinion on their top favorites. I plan on making a few prints of the 3-5 best and putting them up for sale in my mom's studio or the local galleries and see if they sell.

I've been to Heian Jingu like 5 times (jidai matsuri, hatsumode, Takigi Noh, etc.) - and driven under the massive torii about 50 - but I've never actually been in the garden.

I was the only one of the group to pay the 600 yen to get in, and I found it worth it, granted I haven't seen many other Japanese gardens to truly compare it. The only problem I encountered was it was clear sky and the sun was shining bright straight down making pictures a little difficult to take.

Last batch... for a while at least. I still have about half of my pictures to go through, but they were mostly the gardens and flowers of Japan. Now I have the arduous task of picking my favorites and doing whatever work necessary to make them as presentable as possible.
