Yeah, when I'm working full time and waking up at 7am, I always go to sleep at like 12-130 on sunday/monday, then at like 8-830 on tuesday, late on wednesday, and early on thursday again.
My sleep schedules are so weird.
Since I've been home lately i've been sleeping 230-3 to 12.
I listen to classical radio or sports talk. It really does help. I grind my teeth in bed. I don't know what to do with that one.
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
And I've used them all.
1. 500mg L-Tryptophan. Seriously, get some from GNC. It's non-narcotic, it won't fuck you up like Melatonin and it's better than Valerian root.

Nothing works for me either. Sometimes I'm awake for days at a time.
While in Texas I created a mixed drink that contained a shot of cherry nyquil, but that was only for the mornings.
That was reserved for evenings.
I bought a sound machine that has a white noise option. I crank that full blast and that usually does the trick.
I considered getting one of those, but it could never compete with my window mounted air conditioner that is powered by bees.
