I deleted that post, after I'd realized where you were coming from.

  2. Thats sad, they made such AAA material for so long, and then just fell into the hole of mediocure licensed products.

I never understood how they managed to lose such zest for creativity and originality.
    Barf! Barf! Barf!

They made a slew of games based on Episode I. That would break anyone.

I really liked Star Wars: Jedi Power Battles. Star Wars - Episode 1: Podracer was pretty cool, too.

  5. Right, I'm saying they had to use up every ounce of creativity they had in order to squeeze anything worthwhile out of the source material they had to work with.

  6. Fuck! There goes any hope for a Star Wars: Masters of Teras Kasi sequel. Shit.

  8. Hoping to drive its axe into a rumor about even more layoffs, LucasArts has reaffirmed its commitment to its internal studios currently working on Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and Indiana Jones. Said director of public relations Margaret Grohne (via Shacknews), "We've always had a good balance between the internal studio and working with external partners. Expect that to continue."

The new rumor stems from Shacknews, who was reportedly told by a reliable source that LucasArts plans to cut 100 more jobs upon completion of The Force Unleashed and outsource the remainder of Indiana Jones. Last Friday, LucasArts confirmed with Joystiq that they had laid off "a portion" of the staff."

  9. I hope its true that this isnt true....but I bet this is just to keep the workers happy until they finish the game, and then wham, don't let the door hit you on the way out.

  10. To be honest, I'm shocked to learn this hadn't already happened.
