I am not touching any COD game not done by Infinity Ward, after COD3.

This game, esp the multiplayer , is BETTER than COD4. I look at it as a complete mod, similar to Battlefield 2142 (another game thats better than its other half.) Where to start.. Maps: They crush COD4's simple map designs giving more freedom and less choke-points. The only real stinker is Castle, which was in the demo. The German and Russian based levels really shine in particular with little details, but they're all solid. The weapons are somewhat more challenging to use(no P90 spray and pray) and the auto-aim seems to assist you less as well. Martyrdom is less of an issue than before since grenades aren't as overpowered. The levels are waaaay less flat than COD4(for the most part) and offer a more interesting battlefield to play on. Unless there are game-breaking guns I've yet to unlock, it seems that I've got yet another FPS to play this winter

I've heard good things about singleplayer but I won't be able to comment on it till this weekend when I play through it. Its a COD game, based in WW2. I doubt they fuck it up.

If anyone gets this, I'll be playing multi in between Gears 2 and Bad Companys new maps. Such good times.

Is the last stand/revive feature still so broken?
When I was playing the demo, there was no point to use any other number 2 perk. You get last stand, and it lasts for ever, then someone comes to revive. Good concept, but the amount of time that you stay in last stand is ridiculous.

Finished it. Loved it. Great job to the so called B team of call of duty games.

I tried it at my folks' place and I'm digging it. Sure, the vibe feels like Treyarch just wanted to mimic Modern Warfare in a WW2 skin. Still fun though. Really like the ambushes, the more open fields while keeping a linear "arcade" pace. Didn't try the multiplayer though.
