The 360 version is much better for several reasons:

1) 60 FPS vs. 30 FPS.

2) Lots of people playing online vs. nobody playing online.

3) No shitty six-axis controls ruining the gameplay.

4) 360 version actually got a patch that fixed some bugs and gameplay issues.

The game is only 10 dollars anyway, so you can just get the 360 version and give the PS3 one to some sucker

Enjoyed your review, Weeman. I'd pop this in right now and play if my 360 wasn't waiting on a coffin ride to MS.

I'll add my voice to those encouraging all TNL sports fans to pick this up for $20/new or half that used (zboz, of course).

Is 2K doing another online tourney this year?

Unfortunately, 2K stopped supporting the game a long time ago.

The player community is what's keeping it going right now.

CFL III is finishing up all of its bowl games right now, and NSL IV is about a week away from starting.

Those are the two major College/NFL leagues. The NFL league has a full 32 teams, and the College one has 16, but is looking to expand for next season.

I'm also in another NFL league that's basically an "online franchise" where players progress/regress based on their stats, trades between teams can be made freely, and fictional rookies can be drafted onto teams in the off-season.

I've had this for months but finally cracked it open a few weeks ago. I absolutely love how the attribute values are left tucked into the code. It makes for a much cleaner, more organic experience while encouraging you to see what each player has to offer via hands-on, in-game experimentation rather than mundane menu-browsing.

One thing has been pissing me off, though. The camera is zoomed in close enough to the quarterback such that it's difficult to see your WRs if they're running go routes down the sidelines. It's not a problem if you roll out towards the side to which you're intending to throw, but that sort of gives the play away. There doesn't seem to be a way to zoom out during the play like there is in Madden. Other than that, this is one of the best games I've played all year.

To solve the camera issue, try switching over to the "far" camera in the options menu.

It gives you a much wider view of the field.

If that still doesn't let you see what you want, you can always make a "custom" camera yourself.
