Thread: Gaming Preference

  1. It took me a while but I've finally realized that the bathroom is for reading. Recently I demolished a Howard Hughes biography this way.

  2. Home 100%. If I'm out, odds are I have no time to play anything and I've never felt comfortable holding a portable and staring at a tiny screen with dog doo sound to boot.

I always found it weird that people read on the toilet. When I gotta go, I go and I'm out. People who have the time to read books need to see a doctor or something, your ass isn't working right.

Indeed. TNL's jadedness is probably from constipation.

I prefer to play games at home, and I prefer to play on a bigger screen. I play portables often but it's more for the exclusive games than the portability.

  4. I prefer to play at home on the computer. Even for console games, which is why I like emulation so much.

  5. I really dislike handhelds most of the time. I am far more comfortable with a console controller than with handheld controls, and I actively avoid touchscreen games since they make my dumb hands uncomfortable. The PSP also gives me hand cramps for some reason. I keep my DS and some select GBA or non-touchscreen DS games around for inbetween classes sometimes, it's a nice option.

Consoles, all the way. I've never really gotten into PC gaming at all since I dislike keyboard/mouse setups for hand reasons, and they don't typically have nice controller configuration schemes.

This is the same with me. If I can play something on my PC, I do. Even with the consoles six feet away, I get a better video connection, more controller options, less clutter, and all of that good stuff on a PC.

This happens to me as well; playing PSP aggitates the shit out of my carpal tunnel. It's too thin or something.

You're confusing "Not as good as it could be" with "suck".
