I have one that is about the size of a dime, maybe a couple millimeters smaller. I don't know what gauge, I just know it took me a year to find the perfect one and I've only taken it out to clean it ever since. So, in other words, bbobb, if you want my earring, you can have the coroner pry it from my cold dead earlobe.
