I love New York pizza man, but it's the same as Mamma Santa, and I've had both in the last month and a half.

Also, there is plenty of BAD NY pizza as well, cardboard tasting bullshit is all over Manhattan.

Manhattan is the worst for pizza. Bagels too. You've got to hit up the other boroughs, Brooklyn mostly, for real pizza.

I hate how everyone in New York are fucking elitist about their food. Sure, I'm sure it's great, but that doesn't mean that this Pisanello's place isn't excellent. Plus, I doubt is as overpriced as most New York places. lol @ $16 for a sandwich and Carnegie Deli.

I've lived in the midwest, lived here on the east coast, and been out to the west coast numerous, numerous times, and I think the general rule is basically as follows:

The farther you get from any coast the worse the food gets. I've never really been to the south or the gulf coast so I don't know if it applies there.

Same with cities: the farther you get from a major city, the worse the food gets, but this still applies under the general rule: major cities on the coast house the best food there is to be had. Major cities towards the middle of the country have worse food than the coastal cities but better than stuff you get farther out. So you can't really say shit, because you're in the other hotbed of delicious food, though I'm telling you right now Criticom: your pizza sucks ass, even if you don't know it. So do your bagels.


Mexican/Japanese food in California ANNIHILATES anything you can get here on the east coast, and I seriously mean you can walk into any shitty mini mall on the west coast and get the best Mexican food of your life.

NY area has decent Japanese food, but horrible, horrible Mexican.
