Not buying it. Games are what matter, and the 360 is really weak compared to the rest of that list. Its exclusives after 2006 are embarrassing.

If you're going solely by exclusives, sure.

But that's stupid. A system should be judged by every game that can be played on it vs. what can be played on the competition. And since we're strictly talking console vs. console here, leave PC out of the argument.

lol I'd love to hear the argument for the 360 being one of the best systems ever. It's not even remotely comparable to the NES, Genesis, PS1, or PS2 in terms of library. Hell, it's not close to the SNES even.

It isn't fair to make an assessment yet either way, imo. Those consoles you mentioned all had life spans of 7, 9, 10, 8, and 7 years. Let's look at the 360's library again in a few years and judge, since it's only been 3 years.

I don't give a shit what you buy, LIVE is fantastic and makes the system great. Not to mention the 360 pretty much always gets the best version of multiplatform games.

Its not fair to make any argument about what system is better. The older systems will always hold a strong point when every game you plugged into the system was a fresh idea and similar games or sequels weren't burnt out yet.

This generation is going to be defined by features and functionality of the systems, not the games. In 10 years, we will look back and say that 360 was better than other systems when you take into account games + functionalities.
