OMG I'M USING SALES CHARTS TO SUPPORT THE 360 OVER THE PS3 BUT ITS TWO BIGGEST FANBOYS ARE TOO FUCKING STUPID TO TELL!!!!
News at 11!
lol. I obviously don't care as much as some of you guys with your intimate knowledge of sales to date, but I'm just seeing every single PS3 owner in Japan buying FFXIII. That's a pretty big number right there alone, right?
Nah, I don't mean that every Japanese that wants FFXIII will buy it for PS3 rather than 360. Obviously that's what's going to happen because of the exclusivity there. I'm saying that ~100% of the Japanese PS3 owners have a strong interest in the game and will buy it.
EA and Capcom won E3, no contest. The first parties blew it.
Also this E3 was great. Old E3 was cooler to look at, of course, and this year's press conferences were hilariously bad, but this show isn't about the people at home anymore. Old E3=wait in line for an hour to play a gimped version of the game for 5 minutes and then try so somehow bullshit that experience into a 500 word preview. This E3=Play full work-in-progress versions of games for an hour if you want, spend all your time getting in-depth, playing games, talking to developers, and being able to write something genuinely informed and insightful.
I'm not going to say it's better now, but it really does have some major advantages that most people aren't acknowledging. I liked it and so did the others I was with.

Just go ahead and say it, it's better for you and yours because the scum of the Earth (Johnny Nightrain) are no longer wandering the halls and clogging up all the arteries of the show. It's back to being an insider's show, which I think is fine because now we have other more accessible shows like PAX for the proles to go to instead. E3 is no longer gaming's Mecca, complete with the mandatory pilgrimage for all the faithful.
Time for a change
