Your top 3 Sci-Fi Moments

Good picks so far. I wouldn't say that they happen to be my top three, but here's three good ones that I didn't see mentioned as I scrolled through the thread:

-Marty gets the De Lorean up to 88mph while escaping the Libyan terrorists and ends up in 1955. In a barn.

-The 'contact' scene in Close Encounters of the Third Kind

-The Terminator informs Sara and John that he too must be destroyed in order to stop Skynet. 'I know now why you cry, but it is something I can never do.'

The laugh track sucks, but the jokes are still funny.

Good concept. Kind of annoying.

Also, Marvin the Robot's introduction in the BBC Hitchhiker's guide. Too bad it's not on fucking youtube.
