Staying near 8-bit territory, their top 20 Game Boy / Game Boy Color games were:
- Tetris DX
- Zelda: Link's Awakening DX
- Pokémon Red/Blue
- Zelda: Oracle of Seasons
- Zelda: Oracle of Time (yes, they counted it as two games)
- Pokémon Gold/Silver
- Mario Land 2
- Donkey Kong (the one with all the puzzles)
- Wario Land 3
- Kirby 2
- Metal Gear Solid
- Metroid II (CRIMINALLY low on this list imo)
- Pokémon Puzzle Challenge
- Mega Man V
- TMNT: Fall of the Foot Clan
- Mario's Picross
- Dr. Mario
- Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters
- Shantae (this one came out in 2002!)
- Operation C

Yeah, but out of context, I think just saying “Mario 1” should refer to the first Mario Bros.
The original Mario Bros. was brilliant at the time, and is still a good game. This was a couple years before SMB, and the experience was new. Bashing enemies from below, the competitive/co-op gameplay, all the neat little animations separated it from all the Space Panic and DK clones. It was probably my most played arcade game around ’83-84.
Yeah, and now its useless. so, I don't know, fuck it.
I remember playing the awful 2600 version of Mario Bros. for hours on end. Youth = stupid.
Where's the love for Tiger Heli?
