I watched the second screen stuff on a laptop. There was a lot of concept sketch material and some cool production stills. Does not make up for no commentary though.

I know a few of you (including me) loved the Daft Punk soundtrack to this. Just giving heads up that there's a Tron remix (various artists) of the entire soundtrack out now (Tron Legacy R3configur3d).

IMO, there are like 3 decent songs on that remix album. Daft Punk did a great job the first time around.

I thought the first time around was pretty uninspired (lack of experimentation, little variety between tracks, over-reliance on traditional orchestra). I mean, it was still good, but they could have done a lot better.

I thought the original was interesting and fun. It wasn't a new Daft Punk album like I had been hoping for, but it was a good mix of their music style and an orchestral score making something fairly unique.

Reconfigured, on the other hand, sounded like someone got bored one night and cranked out some half-assed remixes. There was nothing interesting about any of the songs and they barely even sound like Daft Punk anymore.

That sounds about right.

For the record, the only ones that were decent(reconfigured) were Adagio for Tron, Solar Sailer and Son of Flynn. They RUINED Fall.
