Lol. That's how I played most of my PS1 imports. Good ol' disc swapping.

Does a 4-in-1 cart work for this? I loved SFIII part 1.

4-in-1 only works for imports. You either need to swap or have a chip for burnt games.

I was the master of the saturn and ps1 disc swaps back in the day.

We went through two of my buddies saturns from us playing so much x-men vs. street fighter.

I always wanted to play scenario 2 btw, good thread.

You have the translation on one disk and the game on the other, and you swap both out really, really quickly whenever you get to a part that has text. It also requires that you alternate jamming the Japanese 4 meg cart, 4-Meg Mega Cheat (Euro version only, the US doesn't work for some reason), and 1 meg carts in the slot over and over, in the order of 4, 1, 4, 4, 1, 1, 1, 4, 1, 4-Meg MEGA CHEAT, 1, 1, 1, 4.

I guess you can do it that way too, and combined with rapid removing and reinserting of the mpeg card, there's less of a chance you'll burn down your house.
