  2. That is correct, yes.

  3. That sucks, Mr. K.
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.

  4. And to make my holidays even better - I also got that other ninja flick: Ninja Gottan watch it later tonight to get my ninja mood going. Whoo Hoo

  5. Well, Ninja WAS a fucking BLAST.

Pure 80s MA flick - Classic story of white dude raised by ninjas in Japan and his rivalry with his evil Japanese brother (hey GI Joe, I am looking at you). White dude gets master's kudos, evil one runs away and later comeback for revenge. Then enter the classic evil The Ring - the secret cult of powerful white dudes, who rule New York and employ the evil Ninja. As Casey, the white dude flee from both Evil Ninja and The Ring throngs of hooded assholes, New York becomes battle zone. The evil leader of The Ring was a video game boss come to life. When his cronies fight Adkins, he stands in the background yelling "COME ON, STOP HIM!!" In fact, the whole movie felt like a 90s beat em up video game... FINAL FIGHT: The movie!

Yeah, the story is pretty silly, but the point here is the heart and soul of pure B-movie. Isac Florentine knows how to film a great fight (and here he even got better with the rest of the storytelling, this being his best work so far), and some of the fights here are really to behold.

Scot Adkins is really one of the best MA actors working in film right now, and he is a tremendous force in the fights. He is known for crazy kicks and flips and here he has some truly awesome fights.

Black Ninja, clad in the super high tech armor with night vision, super adamantium extender swords, guns and rest of classic ninja gear turned modern has awesome time, as he slaughters samurais, cops and cultists alike. He even gets to ride on top of the SUV stabbing through the roof with the sword and firing his gun Or using the Get over here harpoon he borrows from Scorpion.

Lots and lots of digital blood was spilled, as ninjas slash trhough armies of opponents, and I was giddy with the silly fun of it all.

This was truly a delight, throwback to my young years, watching classic ninja flicks with Sho Kosugi and American Ninja. If you ever enjoyed classic 80s B ninja flicks, you will love this.

Check it out, once it hits dvd next spring.
