Thread: Christina Applegate's Boobs Are Gone

  1. I don't feel smoking should be banned anymore than pot should be in personal residences and general outdoor settings where safety isn't endangered. The argument here is that eventually, if I'm a smoker, I will be selling my house and the guy/family who comes in next will now be open to hazardous vapors and chemicals from the years of smoke in the carpet/walls, etc. But it's not like a heavy smoker can mask the smell of that smoke in their house very well, and if you're dumb enough to buy that house from them without realizing work needs to be done to make it livable it's your fault. You should know that you're going to have to repaint the walls and steam clean the fuck out of the carpet. That's a responsibility you've undertaken for yourself based on a house you like enough to do it for.

Shit like this stems from the fact that for some reason people in the west in the modern generations don't seem get it through their heads how important it is to uphold personal freedoms for their citizens, and how long it took to get these freedoms from under the rule of pushy dictators or nanny governments. Basically their idea is "If you're not doing anything wrong then you won't mind!" But that's bullshit. Prove with evidence that I am doing something wrong before violating my rights as citizen. The idea is so simple yet lost on many. Maybe it's because of how much fear is pumped over the TV these days. I don't know.

This is why I think there should be smoking places and non-smoking places, even if it was an uneven ratio. 20% of the nation smokes, so maybe a State should figure out a way to allow 20% of public businesses to allow smoking, that way, all the non-smoking people would have plenty of places to go, while the smokers would have their few places to go.

  3. I say alot more than 20% of the country smokes.

  4. I say at a fucking punk show I should be able to smoke indoors you bitchy little faggots.
    Boo, Hiss.

  5. I say if you step outside for your wank then everyone can enjoy the establishment and only the people who want to breath smoke can breath it. Isn't that easier than segregating random shops and searching town for some place accommodating?

  6. Seriously is it really that hard to go outside and smoke?

Fucking going to bars is so much nicer now. Mind you this is coming from some one who smokes from time to time, its not a regular habit for me but once every couple months I feel like it.

  7. The push to ban smoking in cars and houses is partly what Drew described, but it's also one of those things meant to protect children. I don't smoke and I don't give a fuck if you do, but I do think if you smoke in a car with a kid strapped in it's baby seat you should probably have your balls chopped off and fed to you anally.

    this.

Mesa Arizona was one of the first large communities in the US to ban smoking, at the time people referenced the fact that banning smoking was one of the supposed first measures the Nazis took to promote good public health.

That said, now that I've experienced smoke free public areas, there is no turning back.

    SMOKERS CAN GO FUCK THEMSELVES!

You fucks are so clouded by your addiction that you have little consideration for those around you.
God damn assholes step 2 inches outside a door of a restaurant or shopping center and light up your fucking stink stick, then huddle around the entrance welcoming all who come near with your aire of putridness.

Fucking leaving your cellophane wrappers to blow freely in the wind, dropping or flicking cigarette butts whereever you please. You don't think that shit is litter?!? Just like you don't think your smoke is an affront on my personal space.

My apartment building doesn't allow smoking indoors; so instead, addicts stand near the mailboxes or at the curb. As soon as I arrive home and open my car door the poison odor of cigarette smoke is there to greet me.

On one account Gohron is right: municipalities should provide a location for addicts to partake in their pleasure. Just like a dog park, all the tobacco, crack, and heroin users can congregate at the park down by the river and wallow in each other's filth.
