I've upgraded my expectations from "none" to "cautiously optimistic", although I won't really be surprised if it winds up terrible half-way through the season

it's a shame 3/4ths of it were goddamn flashbacks and nothing interesting happened until the last half hour outside of the base attack, but yeah I'm still in for a few eps since the gate is going to be featured

Just caught the second (well, third) episode. Still pretty good. Kept my attention for another episode anyway. I suspect the Senator's wife is going to be a problem in the future.

hahaaha. well i dont know, i didnt find it that bad. but i hope thats not going to become a trend, every episode ending with a musical montage. and what was the deal with that shuttle which launched at the end? is the senator still alive? did something else come through the gate? OOOOH cliffhanger!
