  5. I've got a bag of sprouting potatoes that I call my Mandrakes and Otesaneks.
    Boo, Hiss.

  6. I made this today in class, turned out better than expected.

Marinated bottom round steak and shrimp skewers, steamed broccoli and red bell peppers with garlic, sauteed yellow squash with garlic and shallots and some rice cooked in beef broth with carrots. Topped the skewers and rice with a parmesan cream sauce with finely diced Red bell peppers.

That washes that hard earned roasted flavor right out of them. At work we grill till nice and charred outside. Put in a bowl cover with plastic wrap and let cool. The peels will come off easy if you grilled long enough. We had a red pepper coulis to go with a fried green tomato salad, a couple seasons menu back.

  8. I always assume people don't want to do restaurant steps at home, so I dumb shit down for ease of use.

Like, who's making demi at their house? Just make a fucking pan sauce and be done in 8 minutes.
    Boo, Hiss.

I've always just put the fuckers in a plastic bag. Though for this, I might leave them on. Dunno. I'll try both.

  10. I'm with rtificial on this one, throw those bitches on a burner, burn the poop out of those skins, toss in a bowl and cover with plastic wrap, then once they cool off the skins come off pretty easy with the back of a paring knife.
