Hey I'm going to see this movie Sunday night. I think it looks pretty funny.

Anyone else see it? It came out last weekend but it seems like it's more widely released this week.

I've been seeing all the hype around this, and I like Steve Coogan and even the idea but... I mean Rock Me Sexy Jesus just doesn't make me laugh.

I got to preview this during Comic-Con, thought it was fantastic. Afterwards the lead actor and the writers did a Q&A, turns out the writers helped out on South Park: BLU, and it shows in the movie. So many great one-liners I can't even remember them all.

The South Park connection tempts me but I still have a lot of Summer Movie catching up to do. This is like 5th on my list after Pineapple Express and Tropic Thunder.

There are a couple things about this movie that I like (Steve Coogan, Elizabeth Shue playing herself), but I just find their approach to the setting way too offensive.

I mean, they didn't even shoot this thing in Tucson.

Okay. This movie is fucking great.

The songs? Worst part of the movie, but still pretty funny. And anyway, there were only like two song/skits in the whole thing.

Steve Coogan = Genius. Without him, the movie wouldn't have been nearly as good.

Second favorite comedy of the summer for me.

Tropic THunder > Hamlet 2 > Pineapple Express > Step Brothers.

Just saw this today, and the theater for this was completely empty.

Good movie, laughed my ass off. Coogan's Jeremy Irons impression is spot-on.

I mean, they didn't even shoot this thing in Tucson.

LOL - through the whole movie they make Tucson sound like the biggest piece-of-shit town you could ever visit.

"You're going to have a magical life. Because no matter where you go, it's always going to be better than Tucson."

That saying can go for so many cities. I'll probably start using it for San Jose.
